It’s wonderful the resort and beach so cool with the sand so white and soft just falls off your feet amazing beach one of the best you have to experience. Lot’s of sun beds with natural shade palm trees and shades. The sea with it’s multitude of different shades of colour. The weather excellent bright sun every day no showers at all so cool to relax and to be served drinks on the beach and even sit at the beach bar range of drinks plus snacks including hot dogs, pop corn and more. All the staff at this Iberostar Bavaro 5 Star All Inclusive Hotel are so friendly helpful and an extra bonus is the majority all sing along as they work such a relaxed and natural attitude and smiling so pleased to see you with greeting. The hotel has a very pleasant location with gardens large amount of flowers shrubbery plants with a group of pink flamingos, ducks, fish, and wild life including turtle’s enjoying the hotel grounds the watered area next to the restaurants so relaxing and lovely to watch the activities. A must for every one especially children (your own nature reserve.) The walkways both on decking and paths are maintained in good tidy condition. Buffet restaurant lots of choice perhaps would suggest could be made twice the size in the food area there are plenty of tables & chairs. The a-la-carte would suggest the French is a must, another the Japanese also very enjoyable choices the meals are brought to the tables not as expected! The usual art prepared in front of a group is always so enjoyable to partake in the show perhaps a point for Hotel Management to consider could be a very good plus if acted upon, never the less still enjoyable. The a-la-carte Mediterranean our choice was lobster and steak and very tasty indeed, finally the Steak Restaurant not of a-la-carte standard a pity, the menu’s good food choices with a very well stocked and presented salad sections.
The rooms are excellent two levels good en-suite walk-in shower, wet room. The towel’s are changed and bed turned down every evening, coffee / tea maker ideal, fridge well stocked. Room service is very good a nice touch arrangements of flowers petals daily in your room. Golf type Buggies are within the hotel complex for movement around the site as necessary, security was all good.
Excursions lots too many to complete in our time here. The Floating Ocean Spa Doctor Fish as they say relax and enjoy a unique spa experience whilst sailing along the palm tree lined beaches. The activities include bio-pilate’s session, floating mattresses so calming providing peace of mind plus two massages one by a Professional Masseuse the other one on an electronic bed. Also a detoxify experience. Plus the delicate mandibles tiny fish cleaner’s (with out teeth) naturally exfoliate your feet. Try stopping in the middle of the bay in the ocean at a floating restaurant for drinks & lunch, a fruit salad, with a selection of nuts to serve on the spa boat. This is well worth enjoying we would highly recommend this excursion a perfect romantic getaway for a couple special treat for sure and the most economical way to enjoy all of the above in a day.
Excursion Segway Eco-Tour well worth the experience and so enjoyable. Through forest, wooded and grassed area around golf courses to a beautiful beach area. All on an ecological reserve guide’s instructors accompany you and paparazzi yes photographer producing excellent photos and extras on a disc. The price of $25 for some 389 photos of the whole group participants is well worth purchasing, very good value including beach photo shoot.
The Spa facilities inside the hotel grounds near the beach are very good the usual Gym, Jacuzzi and various treatment rooms all good, with free use of the Jacuzzi & whirl pools. On the beach area there are numerous massage treatment bays under canopies and a selection of shops including Duty Free. There is Nightly entertainment within the complex and use of the adjoining Hotels.
Guests from all around the world were enjoying the Quality and Ambience of this Hotel with it’s location, the weather played an important part and was all in keeping a very friendly, cheerful and a most pleasant stay for everyone. Free wifi and safe deposit.
Overall
The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. Every staff member that we saw, was pleasant, happy and very friendly. Not to forget helpful. Not a single bad apple in the bunch. The food at all the restaurants was excellent.
