1. Pahalgam:-

Pahalgam is known for its lofty mountains, lakes, coniferous forests and green meadows. You can admire its beauty by visiting the Tulian Lake, Betab valley and Aru valley. This hilly area is also famous for Amarnath Yatra, a trekking route to reach Hindus’ holy pilgrimage Amarnath Dham.  Here, you can do some adventurous activities also such as canoeing, horse riding, white water rafting and skiing.

2. Srinagar:-

The Shikara rides on Sparkling water of Dal lake, Snow capped mountain peaks and Plush houseboats make Srinagar the most visited destination for the locals as well as tourists. There is also a floating market from where you can buy fresh flowers and vegetables. The places to visit here are Shankarcharya temple, Nagin Lake, Shalimar Bagh, Nishant Bagh, Wular lake,  Jama Masjid, Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden and Hazratbal Mosque.

3. Gulmarg:-

It is an idea place for adventure seekers offering mount biking, snowboarding, trekking, skiing and many more. Gulmarg is also called ‘Meadow of Flowers’ due to presence of vibrant flowers. You should also take a ride on Gulmarg Gondola, the world’s second highest cable car and enjoy the breathtaking views of the city. Also, don’t miss golfing in the Golf course located at an altitude of 2650 meter.

4. Leh:-

If you are looking for a blend of adventure, spirituality and natural beauty, then you must visit Leh because here you will find several monasteries, eye-catching lakes and trekking trails. In addition to this, you can explore various historical monuments such as the Leh Palace, Zorawar fort and Shanti Stupa. The adventurous people should also try white water rafting in Zanskar river to have a thrilling experience.
